Yeah it's not going anywhere. there are thousands of private servers for tons of games and most of them are still going strong.

If it makes anyone feel any better, it has been confirmed that TTO Toons haven't been deleted, they're still stored in servers or whatever somewhere deep in a Disney HQ.

Very interesting question you've got their! Disney has kind of let Toontown Rewritten do their own thing, but don't lose sight that certain individuals are watching closely. For the time being they are using the content appropriately, which means the legal side of the company is unlikely to take action at this time. I wouldn't worry about that. The developers and staff of Toontown Rewritten have come a long way since Sept. 2013, and definitely have caught attention along the way :)

if the people from toontown rewritten got permission from disney to use there game and to make money then yeah it would be legal.


as far as legal action.

disney can still go after ttr.


just because a game is free doesnt automatically make it legal.

TTR isnt owned by a actual company.
